Title says everything. If you spend some days in space, you will face problem in moving on the ground when you will return to Earth. You generally think that astronauts enjoy in zero gravity space, but the fact may differ from your imagination. Living in space is not an easy task. Astronauts are given hard training so that they could stay in space which is known as zero gravity area. Instead walking, astronaut can float in space because of zero gravity. But Earth has gravity which pulls everything towards it. That’s why you can’t float in earth environment. So when astronauts return home from space, they even struggle to move on the ground.
A recent video uploaded by astronaut AJ (Drew) Feustel on twitter showed his struggle to walk on the ground after he returned to home. He spent 197 days in space and now he is unable to walk normally on the ground. Two men are trying to help him move on the ground. They are holding his hand so that he could move on ground easily. Fuestel served as the commander of Expedition 56.
He tweeted
“Welcome home #SoyuzMS09 ! On October 5th this is what I looked like walking heel-toe eyes closed after 197 days on @Space_Station during the Field Test experiment..I hope the newly returned crew feels a lot better.
