Does your heart beat faster than normal while at rest? Don’t mess it up with the time when you do physical exercise or you have any tension or physical injury or illness, because in these conditions heart beat increases naturally. But if you feel that your heart is beating faster than normal while you are in rest mode, you may be suffering from Tachycardia, a common type of disorder that increases your heart beat. In this condition, either upper chambers of heart or lower chambers of heart beat faster but in some cases both chambers beat faster while at rest.
Your heart beats continuously due to electrical signals produced in heart tissue. When your heart generates rapid electrical signals, your heart rate increases rapidly which should normally be 60 to 100 beats per minute at rest.
In some cases, it is very hard to identify the symptoms of tachycardia, but you can’t leave it untreated because it can cause several health issues such as heart failure, stroke and cardiac arrest or death.
