Eye is a very important part of our body. It connects you with the outside world. This means that if you do not have eyes, you will not be able to see anything. You will not be able to go outside the house. You will need support to do any work. Life is dark without eyes. Just think about those people who have not yet seen this world because of blindness. Ask also those whose eyes were good before but got damaged later. They will tell you how difficult it is to live a life without eyes.

I want to share my experience with you all about eyes. This is the incident when I was studying in class 10th standard. There used to be a hand pump in my house which was the only source of water. One day that hand pump got a defect. My mother told me about the problem. I took a small hammer and went to correct the hand pump. I was trying to find out what was wrong with it. As soon as I hit the hand pump with the hammer, a very small piece of iron flew into my right eye. I started massaging the eyes with my finger to get the piece out. Generally everyone uses this method. Despite this, if the eye do not feel comfort , then we try to get rid of the waste by splashing water. If this method also does not work, then I think medical help may be needed. But even more dangerous had to happen to me.
I massaged the eye and splashed water too but to no avail. My eye was not feeling comfort at all. I thought that the next day my eye would heal on its own but it did not happen. Gradually the pain in the eye kept growing. After two days, I lost my vision at the right eye and also started having severe pain. I wasn’t able to understand anything that what happened in my right eye. Eventually my father took me to an eye doctor who was also his client. My father was a contractor. He used to make furniture. When the doctor inspected my eyes, he got very angry at my father. The reason for the anger was that my right eye had completely dead due to being late. There is a kind of fluid between the cornea and the lens. That fluid had discharged from there, due to which the light was not able to reach the retina. Nevertheless the doctor started the treatment. Medicines were being injected into my eye every five minutes. I had to go to his chamber everyday. Although the doctor confirmed that my eye had completely damaged. It won't be okay now. After two days, when the doctor again inspected my eyes, he was happy.
The good news was that my vision at the right eye started coming back. According to the doctor, the eye which was completely dead had started recover. Otherwise, till the first two days, the doctor had no hope that my eye would be cured. According to him, it was nothing but a miracle. Because a thing that is dead cannot come back to life. If this happens then it will be called a miracle. This incident happened just three-four months before my 10th final exam. If my eye was not recovered, then I would have to sit in the examination with the help of one eye. I am thankful to the doctor who treated my eye knowing that it was impossible to cure. Today my eye is fine due to his treatment. Eye is a very important organ of our body. It is very important for us to take care them. If there is any discomfort in the eyes, then do not delay like me. Consult a doctor immediately.
