This photo was taken before lockdown. Due to Covid-19, Indian railway service and Metro rail remain closed in the middle of March, 2020. However, some special trains have already started to help migrant labourers reach their home.

According to recent news, the trains for regular passengers would start on 1st July, 2020, but due to increasing case of Covid-19 patients, it is cancelled until 12 August, 2020. However, the special trains will continue to give there service in the country.

Chief Minister of West Bengal decided to resume metro rail services along with all restrictions on 1st July, 2020. However, I am not sure about it, because as far as I know metro rail is also governed by Central government.

We haven't entered metro station last three months. Office goers are facing problem in reaching their work area in spite of having more government buses availability. All private buses are currently not operating in the city. So, West Bengal government is talking with Metro railway authority to allow them to start again their operation in the city.
