Citizens of South Koreans are now dreaming a city having no regulation for cryptocurrency and blockchain. A request is already made to South Korean government for approval. I don’t know about other countries, but South Korea has a petition system that establishes communication between government and its citizens. Using that petition system, they can bring new regulations or change old policies so that their citizen’s demand could be met.

Last year, using this system South Koreans lodged a petition in which they requested their government to remove the ban imposed on cryptocurrency trading by Justice Minister Park. And the result was positive, the next day South Korean government not only removed Minister Park’s ban on crypto trading, but also offered a public apology.

The petition system can be obtained through the official or main website of the Blue House. The Petition made for removing regulations that create obstruction for blockchain and cryptocurrency industries will be expired on 9th May. This new petition has already been signed by 3500 people.

South Korea has numerous people interested in cryptocurrency and blockchain industries, but they are not able to take benefit of this technology just because of harsh policies imposed by South Korea government. Therefore, they have made a request to their government to ease the regulation so that they could grow blockchain and cryptocurrency industries in South Korea.
