Increasing bitcoin price stimulates hackers to crack into GitHub Repository created for Bitcoin Gold (BTG) so that they can inject malicious files to steal users’ fund. And they have succeeded to do that. Cyber attackers are getting activated due to huge growth in bitcoin price which has almost reached $10,000. That’s why hackers are trying to invade crypto wallet.

The users who have already downloaded the official wallet from BTG’s websites from 21st November to 25th November may have malicious files. So, they must be careful while installing that wallet. BTG team reveals it on 26th November. The users must scan their computer to wipe out all kinds of malware so that their fund could be saved in their wallets.

“Until we know otherwise, all users should presume this file was created with malicious intent – to steal cryptocurrencies and/or user information. The file does not trigger antivirus / anti-malware software, but do not presume the file is safe,” BTG warning said.

“If the file was used, the computer on which it was used should be addressed with extreme caution; the file should be deleted, the machine should be thoroughly checked for malware and viruses (or wiped clean), and any cryptocurrencies with wallets accessible on that machine should be moved to new wallet addresses immediately,” the team added.
